james was super sweet and took me to bhan thai tonight for my birthday dinner :) these are roses outside of the restaurant. we also went to republic for birthday cake! woowoo!

woke up this morning at 6am, rolled over, and it was 8am...i was supposed to be at the airport at 8, not leaving for the airport at 8....my flight left at 10:20...the hotel was about 45 mins from the airport and i had to turn in the rental car, check in, get through security and find my gate by 950...fun...needless to say i made it but i gave myself a panic attack in the process. i am very thankful for the lady at the front desk of the hotel though because she gave me $5 worth of quarters for the toll road so my trip to the airport was easier and took less time! the flight got a little bumpy but i was lucky enough to land in between storm lines. got some awesome cloud pics while i was in the air. when i got home, james picked me up from the airport and we wondered around town for a little while and ate lunch at spaghetti warehouse.
then april and i headed out to bunko. had a great time and got some free clothes out of it, including my new favorite pair of jeans ever!!!! thanks Christie!

this is a close up of the ugly hallway carpet at the hotel im staying at. here's more hotel pics. i leave tomorrow morning and have a busy day ahead of me. training has been fun though and am very glad i got the chance.

theres and outback steakhouse between the training center and my hotel, so of course ive stopped there every day to eat :) well, stopped to pick up something to eat. yummy, yummy!!!

went to the "workout room" at the hotel to try to get in some exercise...it was kind of a sad site. the first time i went it had three machines - a treadmill, elliptical, and a bike. all three were old old machines and the treadmill was "out of order." talk about bummed. i did find a gym not too far from the hotel that i paid to use for the week though, which worked out great!

today we went to a pizza place in harbor town for lunch/dinner. it was such a nice day outside so we sat outside and just enjoyed the afternoon. i like harbor town...it has a small town feel...complete with small specialty grocery store and a coffee shop that closes at 3pm on a sunday....
