woke up this morning at 6am, rolled over, and it was 8am...i was supposed to be at the airport at 8, not leaving for the airport at 8....my flight left at 10:20...the hotel was about 45 mins from the airport and i had to turn in the rental car, check in, get through security and find my gate by 950...fun...needless to say i made it but i gave myself a panic attack in the process. i am very thankful for the lady at the front desk of the hotel though because she gave me $5 worth of quarters for the toll road so my trip to the airport was easier and took less time! the flight got a little bumpy but i was lucky enough to land in between storm lines. got some awesome cloud pics while i was in the air. when i got home, james picked me up from the airport and we wondered around town for a little while and ate lunch at spaghetti warehouse.
then april and i headed out to bunko. had a great time and got some free clothes out of it, including my new favorite pair of jeans ever!!!! thanks Christie!

theres and outback steakhouse between the training center and my hotel, so of course ive stopped there every day to eat :) well, stopped to pick up something to eat. yummy, yummy!!!

went to the "workout room" at the hotel to try to get in some exercise...it was kind of a sad site. the first time i went it had three machines - a treadmill, elliptical, and a bike. all three were old old machines and the treadmill was "out of order." talk about bummed. i did find a gym not too far from the hotel that i paid to use for the week though, which worked out great!

today we went to a pizza place in harbor town for lunch/dinner. it was such a nice day outside so we sat outside and just enjoyed the afternoon. i like harbor town...it has a small town feel...complete with small specialty grocery store and a coffee shop that closes at 3pm on a sunday....

umai

james and i went to umai tonight for dinner. overall it was very enjoyable. we sat outside on the patio and the food was really good, but the salad was a let down. $12 for a salad that was maybe a cup of lettuce and maybe an ounce of meat. the rest of the sushi and james' meal were great though. ill know next time not to get the salad :) oh, and they sell andy gator so im positive we'll be going back!

a close up of my running shoes :) i really need a new pair. i played wallyball at lunch and ran back to the building with one of the other guys who plays. its about a mile give or take but was a much needed run. unfortunately i didnt have any other workout clothes so i couldnt go to boxing :( the guys suggested i just put back on what i wore at lunch...figures...
